Change of plans. Has anyone else read
The Hunchback of Notre-Dame by Victor Hugo? It is one of my favorite nineteenth century novels. There is a really great discussion in that novel about how the printing press replaced the beauty and grandeur of architecture. I want to discuss how the
computer has replaced the
printing press in terms of expressing the human condition. Any thoughts? Any other angles I could take?
